What makes me tick?
I like to make sure I work quickly and efficiently to make sure all accounts are up to date and balanced for the fee earners and also the management team. I enjoy my job all the more as I love the people I work with here at James Legal. Getting the job done so our clients can move into their new houses, although completion day can be extremely stressful, really gives me a sense of achievement.
My experience
I have worked as a cashier within the legal profession for the past 14 years. I joined James Legal 3 years ago due to their continued expansion and Gill Garnett joined me shortly after to work alongside me in the accounts department. Gill and I work great together and the fact she works in the same way as me makes our job roles much easier as we complement each other.
Outside of work
I have two young girls to keep me on my toes out of work and I love nothing more than to spend time with them and my husband. We enjoy going away whether it’s to Lapland, or a week away camping. However, I do enjoy meeting up with my friends for a drink and a catch up.
What I do?
I specialise in the following legal and business areas:
- Transferring monies to clients, banks, solicitors and other third parties
- Inputting data onto clients individual ledgers
- Inputting invoices and making payment by bank transfer or cheque
- Ensuring employee wages are correct and paid on time
- Reconciling the James Legal bank Accounts
